• To provide an information, advice and support service for the development of new social enterprises in Berkshire
• To raise awareness of social enterprise and its contribution to social inclusion, communuity and skills development and a sustainable and inclusive community
• To improve the performance of existing social enterprises to ensure a successful social enterprise sector in Berkshire
• To provide excellent quality capacity building initiatives and training to build the skills of people to set up, work in and manage social enterprises
• To develop, promote and co-ordinate the range of services to be offered by SEB
• To gather and maintain a knowledge base of information on social enterprise(s)
• To help the local community help themselves
